Special Session on Trends and Challenges in Green Computing (TCGC)

Aim and Scope

This special session aim to provide an international forum where the researchers/scientists and practitioners in various fields can interact with each other and find the way out to make environment sustainable for the coming generations and to take remedial actions against massive production of carbon dioxide, minimizing e-waste, minimizing use of printed stationery and many more. The scope of this session is almost infinity. Most of the common people does not have any idea about the evil effects of computers, mobile phones etc. The present session will give a clear picture how one can really save energy, reduce production of massive carbon dioxide by introducing green computing. The objectives of this session is as follows:

  • To discuss the basics of Green Computing
  • To discuss why Green Computing?
  • To highlight on Trends in Sustainable Green Globe
  • To discuss how the people of the globe Polluting of Air, Water and Soil of Globe unknowingly or knowingly
  • What we mean by the term "Basics of Green Information Technology"
  • The Methodologies and Approaches taken towards Green Computing
  • The Strategies used in Green Computing
  • Various Strategies used to reduce Power Consumption in PC
  • To implement Thin Desktop Virtualization
  • Green Computing and Green Technology used in e-learning
  • Massive Open Online Courses(MOOCs)-Application to Green Computing in Higher Education Institution
  • Future Trends in Green Computing

Call for Papers

This particular session is to bring researchers, academicians from multidisciplinary field, environmental scientists, computer scientists, professionals from various fields& industrialists working a common platform to save power, to reduce productions of carbon dioxide, to recycle e-waste, and will provide an opportunity to enhance and exchange their innovative idea, knowledge & experience in the field of Green Computing. This special session will provide an introduction and concepts of Green Computing to make environment sustainable for the coming generations.

  • Pollution of environment by industries and by individuals

Submission instructions

All submissions will be peer-reviewed by experts in the field based on originality, significance and clarity. Authors must follow the instructions outlined in http://icrcicn.in/callpaper.htm. The accepted and presented papers will be published in the conference proceedings as well as will be submitted to IEEE CPP for linking to IEEE Explorer if all prerequisites are completed.

Prospective authors willing to submit their manuscripts for the special session should indicate the acronym of the special session (TCGC) in the footnote of the manuscript during initial submission.
